Adding perennial biofuel crops lowers surface temperatures: new report

In Arizona, researchers from Arizona State University, Stanford University and Carnegie Institution for Science have discovered that introducing planting perennial crops extensively for mass production of biofuel feedstocks can lower surface temperatures by about a degree Celsius locally, averaged over the entire growing season.
