Corn prices likely to fall 24% in 2013: CBO
In Washington, the Congressional Budget Office says that corn prices will likely fall from their $6 per bushel average last year to $4.54 in the 2013 marketing year beginning Sept. 1 but only rise to $4.82 by 2022 as ethanol production growth slows to a pace that farmers can catch up with.
