Biodiesel bus service debuts in the Emirates
In the UAE, Gargash Enterprises is introducing a shuttle bus service using 11 Mercedes Vito shuttles converted to run on biodiesel to service customers from the Gargash Enterprises workshop in Al Qouz to various locations across Dubai.
The move is in line with HH Shaikh Mohammed’s ‘UAE Strategy for Green Development’ campaign. The company says the Vitos are the first new commercial vehicle in the UAE running on biodiesel.
