Galician nationalist party aims for bill to protect Spanish biodiesel

In Spain, the Galician nationalist party is presenting a proposal in front of the lower house of the national legislature to require the government to put in production quotas for about 50 of the country’s biodiesel plants to help ensure their survival in the face of competition from Argentina and Indonesia. The national energy regulator CNE already reviewed a similar proposal and said it didn’t appose the idea.
