Ukraine distilleries switch from spirits to fuels

In the Ukraine, Chinese investors plant to invest $120 million to transition distilleries into fuel ethanol plants beginning with a facility in the village of Popovka in Konotop district. The distillery in Popovka produces 30 metric tons of spirits per day but could be extended as a result of the transition to ethanol.
