Biofuels Digest Index rises to 74.77 as recent IPOs rise

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, moved up strongly, rising 1.48 percent to 74.77 on strong gains by recent IPO stocks.  For the day, Ceres (CERE) soared 13.91 percent to $14.99, while Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 6.38 percent to $5.85.  Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) bumped up 6.06 percent to $10.50.  Overall, advances led declines 9 to 5 for the day.
