Biofuels Digest Index slips to 75.91 despite another KiOR surge

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.46 percent to 75.91 despite another KiOR surge. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) jumped 8.43 percent to $13.51, while Amyris (AMRS) fell 2.31 percent to $5.76. Among other equities, Verenium (VRNM) recovered 7.04 percent to $3.80.  Overall, declines led advances 5 to 2 for the day.
