Biomass Energy Services explores $10M Chilean biodiesel project

In Chile, Georgia-based Biomass Energy Services is exploring biodiesel production with the Ministry of Energy and the national oil company for use in local public transport. The facility the company is looking to build would cost $10 million and produce 45 million gallons of biodiesel per year. The company would want to see US biodiesel exported to Chile for introduction into the local market, then later switch over to local biodiesel production.
