Brazilian sugarcane harvest will be delayed, predicts research group, citing drought

In Brazil, University of Sao Paulo research group CEPEA says that it doesn’t expect the sugarcane crush to begin until the second half of April rather than mid-April, likely due to poor rains in February and March, and the resulting lower sugar content expected in the cane.
