IntercontinentalExchange launches two ethanol swap contracts

In England, IntercontinentalExchange, an operator of global regulated futures exchanges, clearing houses and over-the-counter markets, today announced the launch of 26 new cleared OTC contracts.  Of interest here at Biofuels Digest are the two Ethanol Swaps, Chicago (ETC)3 and New York (ETN)3.

All of the new contracts will be available for the trade date of Monday, April 30, 2012, subject to regulatory non-objection. With the products announced today, ICE will offer over 700 cleared OTC energy contracts.
