Biofuels Digest Index advances to 73.07 as crop stocks rally

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.88 percent to 73.07 as crop stocks rallied.  For the day, Ceres (CERE) advanced 1.07 percent to $17.00, while Monsanto (MON) jumped 2.92 percent to $78.34. Among other equities, Syngenta (SYT) leapt 2.73 percent to $69.59.  Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
