Building your value chain, or supply chain? In the bio-based world, that means partners, and plenty of them. But who are the best?

Behind the 50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy, and the 30 Hottest Companies in Renewable Chemicals & Materials, there are a lot of partners adding value and driving down costs. For quite some time, we’ve been recognizing hot companies, but never doing enough to recognize the partners that make bio-based companies strong and enduring.

But network with whom, and why? Who’s the hottest? That’s what the 40 Hottest Partners in Bioenergy and Bio-based Products rankings are all about.

After all, our Digest war cry is “This is the most ambitious stand-up of an entire industry ever attempted. No one can do it alone. Network like crazy!”

If you would like to recognize your great partners – or if your company is a Hot Partner – here’s your opportunity for some overdue recognition.

Now, with Categories within the overall rankings

But the Hot 40 is more than just a single list. By popular demand, with this set of rankings, we are introducing Categories for the first time. Not only can a company become, for example, #1 in the overall Hot 40 Partners, but could be #1 in Feedstock Partners, or #1 in Lab Services, or #1 in Strategic Customers (Fuels), and many other Categories as well.

So, you have two ways to “win,” and, more importantly, the rankings will be even more comparable than ever.

Nominations open today

Nominations open today, here, and will remain open through Friday May 4 at 5pm EDT. Voting will commence May 5 at 9am EDT, and will continue through Friday June 1 at 5pm EDT.

In addition to nominating partners for the Rankings, you can nominate additional categories. All partners nominated by subscribers and invited selectors will be included on the ballot.

As with all Digest rankings, there will be Digest subscriber voting, which will count for half of the overall votes, and invited international selector voting, which will count for the other half.

Our criteria? “Hot” partners are those which, In your judgement, have the optimal combination of visibility and credibility. They need both to succeed.
