French sugarbeet bounty leads to record ethanol production

In France, a strong sugarbeet crop has meant record-breaking ethanol production. Beet ethanol production during the fourth quarter of 2011 reached 347 million liters of out a total 622 million liters for the period, up from 394 million liters during the third quarter.
