Biofuels Digest Index drops to 69.80 as ethanol, advanced biofuels sag

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.08 percent to 69.80 as ethanol, advanced biofuels fell.  For the day, Mission New Energy (MNEL) dropped 7.32 percent to $0.38,  while Solazyme (SZYM) plummeted 4.48 percent to $10.87. Among other equities, Biofuels Energy (BIOF) fell 5.17 percent to $0.55.  Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
