Biofuels Digest Index recovers to 70.12 as renewable diesel jumps

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 0.46 percent to 70.12 as ethanol, renewable diesel advanced.  For the day, Amyris (AMRS) fell 7.87 percent to $2.81,  while Syntroleum (SYNM) soared 12.09 percent to $1.02. Among other equities, Aventine (AVRW) jumped 10.37 percent to $2.98 .  Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
