Thailand’s Bangchak Petroleum asks gov’t to boost cassava-based ethanol to 30% of market

In Thailand, Bangchak Petroleum has asked the government to boost the share of cassava-based ethanol to 30% of the domestic market from the current 10% share. About a quarter of the country’s 25 million metric tons of cassava produced every year are used as ethanol feedstock.
