Ukraine recommended an E5 blending requirement

In Ukraine, the Energy and Coal Industry has prepared a draft of a law that would require a 5% blend of bioethanol to gasoline for consumers by 2014. Said Minister Ihor Kyriushyn, “In the nearest 10-15 years, we have a task to maximum increase a part of the use of bioethanol in the fuel quality in Ukraine. This is the main task, which was set by the ministry. In introduction of bioethanol on the motor fuel market of Ukraine, world’s leading experience will be taken into consideration, in particular, of the Federal Republic of Brazil.”
