Biofuels Digest Index falls to 68.67 on broad ag-stock retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.34 percent to 68.67 on a broad retreat in ag-related stocks.  For the day, Gevo (GEVO) shed 10.71 percent to $8.92 after the USPTO agreed to reexamine key patents,  while Syntroleum (SYNM) plummeted 10.31 percent to $0.87.  Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) dumped 6.36 percent to $2.65.  Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
