Biofuels Digest Index falls to 68.67 as global equities retreat

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.34 percent to 68.67 on a broad, global equities retreat.  For the day, Gevo (GEVO) shed 8.41 percent to $8.17,  while Valero (VL) dropped 2.51 percent to $22.95.  Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) recovered 3.02 percent to $2.73.  Overall, declines led advances 4 to 1 for the day.
