Spain’s Biocombustibles de Zierbena biodiesel goes into liquidation

In Spain, Biocombustibles de Zierbena in the Port of Bilbao has entered liquidation after just one year of production. The $65 million, 200,000 metric ton per year biodiesel facility opened in 2009 and produced just 30% of its nameplate capacity in 2009 and only 371 tons in 2010.
