Biofuels Digest Index recovers to 65.48 as advanced biofuels gain

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 0.38 percent to 65.48 as advanced biofuels picked up.  For the day, Amyris (AMRS) gained 1.01 percent to $2.01, while Solazyme (SZYM) rose 1.23 percent to $9.86.  Among other equities, Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) jumped 5.85 percent to $7.42.  Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
