DOE’s Biomass 2012 meeting open for registration

In Washington, the Energy Department’s fifth annual networking and informational conference, Biomass 2012: Confronting Challenges, Creating Opportunities – Sustaining a Commitment to Bioenergy will be held July 10-11 in Washington, DC.

Registration is free and open to the public, but space is limited, and participants must register in advance. Biomass 2012 will feature presentations on the status of some of the pioneer advanced biorefinery projects breaking ground this year and explore pressing policy issues confronting the advanced biofuels industry, including the future of the Renewable Fuel Standard. Breakout sessions will focus on commercialization strategies, breakthrough conversion technologies, state policy and regulatory issues, feedstock logistics, aviation biofuels, international dimensions of bioenergy, and more.
