Biofuels Digest Index sags to 63.93 as ethanol, advanced biofuels wane

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, sagged 1.69 percent to 63.93 as ethanol and advanced biofuels slumped.  For the day, Gevo (GEVO) fell 9.40 percent to $6.36, while Biofuels Energy (BIOF) dropped 12.20 percent to $0.36.  Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) soared 10.50 percent to 9.89 after a favorable Q1 update.  Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
