In California, SG Biofuels has appointed Jerry Caulder, Ph.D., as chairman of the board. Dr. Caulder, currently chairman of Finistere Ventures, has a distinguished track record in the plant sciences industry and is often referred to as the ‘father of agricultural biotechnology.’
In Wisconsin, Virent announced that John D. Rice has joined its Board of Directors, following a 36-year at Archer Daniels Midland Company where he last served as Vice Chairman, Commercial and Production.
