UK says wheat demand will lag until Vivergo whaet ethanol project online

In the UK, because the Vivergo ethanol plant doesn’t intend to come online until summer and the Ensus plant is still technically idle, the government doesn’t expect there to be much demand for wheat this year from the national ethanol industry. Estimates for wheat usage during 2011/12 for both industrial and human use was wound down by 48,000 metric tons to 6.81 million tons.
