Raizen projects huge US exports this year

In Brazil, Raizen expects ethanol exports to the US to grow by 20 to 30 percent this season because of the favorable exchange rate. The company has already contracted 500 million liters of ethanol exports for the U.S. market, according to VP of logistics, trading, and distribution Leonardo Gadotti Filho. He also indicated that Raizen’s overall shipments could reach 1 billion liters of ethanol this year.
