N3Pharma, Incbio plan new fish oil-based biofuels project inside Arctic Circle

In Portugal, Incbio has been awarded a contract to supply a turnkey biodiesel unit for Norway’s N3Pharma. Designed to transesterify a total capacity of 10,000MT/year of fish oil with ethanol (ethylation), the plant will be fully built with food grade materials and components, and include excess ethanol recovery. Once built, the plant will be installed and operated in Tromso, Norway, 350km inside the Arctic Circle.
