Valero idles Nebraska plant, citing margins

In Nebraska, Valero has idled its 110 million gallon per year ethanol plant in Albion due to shrinking margins. The facility may be restarted ahead of the corn harvest this fall while the company’s other ethanol facilities aren’t likely to be idled.
