Indian state of Karnataka sets 200 million liter target for the end of year

In India, the state of Karnataka has set a biofuel target of 200 million litters by year-end, pushing forward its goal to surpass Maharashtra as the second largest producer of biofuel in the country. Karnataka State Biofuel Development Board indicates that the capacity for biofuels plantations is about ten times its current use.
