Biofuels Digest Index recovers to 61.70 as ethanol, enzymes gain

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 0.78 percent to 61.70 as ethanol and enzyme stocks gained. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) plunged 10.98 percent to $3.00, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) rebounded 17.67 percent to $2.93. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 5.60 percent to $12.44.  Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
