Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 62.67 as advanced biofuels rally

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.29 percent to 62.67 as advanced biofuels stocks surged anew. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) jumped 5.17 percent to $3.46, while Novozymes (NZMB) climbed 3.30 percent to $25.95. Among other equities, BlueFire renewables (BFRE) soared 43.75 percent to $0.23.  Overall, advances led declines 7 to 6 for the day.
