Biofuels Digest Index slumps to 61.57 as advanced biofuels, enzymes drop

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.12 percent to 61.57 as advanced biofuels and enzyme stocks fell. For the day, Algae.Tec (AEB.AX) sagged 5.88 percent to $0.32, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) slumped 8.83 percent to $6.61. Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) shed 5.56 percent to $2.55. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 5 for the day.
