FarmEcon says that ethanol to blame for livestock industry woes

In Indiana, a new study from FarmEcon says that corn’s use in ethanol production rose 300% between 2005 and 2011 which led to corn prices to jump to $6 a bushel in 2011 from $2 in 2005. The report concludes that the RFS2 should be reviewed, which has the livestock industry rallying behind it to prove its similar argument.
