Biofuels Digest Index sags to 59.22 on large caps, enzyme drops

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.28 percent to 59.22 as large caps and enzymes fell. For the day, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) soared 80.00 percent to $0.90, while Codexis (CDXS) dropped 5.80 percent to $3.41. Among other equities, Verenium (VRNM) gained 4.27 percent to $3.91. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 2 for the day.
