Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 69.85 as ethanol recovers

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rebounded 1.06 percent to 59.85 as ethanol recovered. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) soared 40.63 percent to $3.15, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rocketed up 33.33 percent to $0.40. Among other equities, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) tumbled 5.06 percent to $5.63. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
