Biofuels Digest Index slips to 60.03 as advanced biofuels stocks tank, ethanol recovers

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 1.27 percent to 60.03 as large caps struggled. For the day, Renewable Energy Group (REGI) fell 5.53 percent to $4.95, while Amyris (AMRS) surged 9.32 percent to $3.87. Among other equities, Aventine Renewables (AVRW) rebounded 35.14 percent to $1.00. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
