Biofuels Digest Index slips to 59.76 as advanced biofuels slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.45 percent to 59.76 as advanced biofuels sagged. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) surged 9.71 percent to $3.05, while Amyris (AMRS) shed 13.95 percent to $3.33. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) fell 10.29 percent to $0.61. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
