Biofuels Digest Index slips to 59.55 as ethanol drops

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.54 percent to 59.44 as ethanol dropped. For the day, Novozymes (NZMB) fell 3.71 percent to $23.38, while Aventine Renewables (AVRW) plunged 49.00 percent to $0.51. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) recovered 6.56 percent to $0.65. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
