Biofuels Digest Index advances to 61.53 as ethanol rebounds

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 0.10 percent to 61.53 as ethanol rebounded. For the day, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) advanced 2.48 percent to $3.30, while The Andersons (ANDE) jumped 4.82 percent to $37.87 . Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) plunged 8.14 percent to $12.52. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 4 for the day.
