BIO bites back in Congress, the Hill reports

In Washington, the Hill reports that BIO is heating up the pressure cooker, “warning its political allies on Capitol Hill that attacks against corn ethanol will hinder next-generation fuels.” The piece, which details BIO’s efforts over the last several months to promote the biofuels industry, provided scathing remarks from the API spokesman, Carlton Carrol: “While we expect these fuels to be available at some point (and our members are investing in them now), setting absurdly high mandates has proven to not stimulate the production of these fuels.”
