Indian Railways set to invest in four biodiesel plants

In India, Indian Railways has decided to invest $11 million in two biodiesel plants that should be online next year with plans to invest in another two. The first two plants that will produce 60 metric tons of biodiesel per day will be in Tondiarpet in Tamil Nadu state and Raipur in Chhattisgarh state while the location of the other two facilities are still being finalized.
