United Airlines joins Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group

In Illinois, United Airlines has joined the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Users Group (SAFUG), an industry working group whose objective is to accelerate the development and commercialization of aviation biofuels. The airline signed a pledge to pursue the advancement and use of drop-in biofuels. SAFUG’s members include Air China, Alaska Airlines, Boeing, Lufthansa, Qantas, and Virgin.
