SIC to invest $35 million in biodiesel co-op JV

In the Philippines, Secura International Corporation has signed a joint venture with the Higaonon Indi Tribes Cooperative and the Tumanod Indi Napier Marketing Cooperative to produce biodiesel. SIC will invest $35 million in the manufacturing plant while it will pay farmers in the cooperative a monthly fee to grow feedstocks.
