Lithuanian biomass power plant opens tender for biomass supply

In Lithuania, Lietuvos Energija has launched a tender to acquire biomass feedstocks for the 40MW biomass-based power plant it will launch in 2014. The facility will required roughly 100,000 cubic meters of wood and 16,000 TOE of biofuels. Winners of the tender will be announced in November.
