Brazilian ethanol exports on the rise despite domestic supply gap

In Brazil, ethanol exports primarily to the US surged in July, what has been described as a seasonal phenomenon, to 410 million liters while exports in the previously months had fallen to between 64 million and 140 million liters. Datagro expects exports to continue growing but that there will still be enough supply available for the domestic market in early 2013
