Ethanol half as profitable as in May but still profitable

In Missouri, Doane Advisory Services says that ethanol production is indeed profitable though less so than it was in May when net returns were 55 cents per gallon. For the week through Aug. 25, they estimate net returns were around 28 cents per gallon.
