Ireland goes commercial on algae biofuel production

In Ireland, after three years of experimenting with algae production, Daithi O’Mhurchu Marine Research Station is set to become the country’s first commercial scale producer of algae for biofuels spurred on by the upcoming end to the four-year EU grant that has been funding the project.
