EIA said gasoline demand down, ethanol steady

In Washington, the Energy Information Administration reports that ethanol production averaged 816,000 barrels per day (b/d) – or 34.27 million gallons daily. The 4-week average for ethanol production stood at 822,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 12.60 billion gallons. Gasoline demand for the week averaged 365.2 million gallons daily, down significantly from recent weeks. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 9.38%. Ethanol producers were producing 91,068 metric tons of livestock feed, and 4.25 million pounds of corn oil daily.
