France seeks to limit first generation biofuel over food competition

In France, the country is reconsidering its plan to use 10% biofuels in response to growing concerns over competition with food and instead is calling for a cap of 7% on first generation biofuels. It is not expected that the proposal, that falls under the new government’s action plan for agriculture, would affect the current E10 policy.
