General Biofuels Georgia to build $60 million wood pellet factory

In Georgia, General Biofuels Georgia will build a $60 million wood pellet facility in Sandersville that is set to open in early 2014, bringing 35 new jobs along with it. The plant’s capacity will be 440,000 tons of pellets annually with a target market of European utilities under long-term contract.
